What do I need to bring?

You will need your endorsement from your instructor (if required), Driver's License and testing fee. You may bring a plotter and E-6B. You will not be allowed to take anything else with you into the testing room. Paper, pencils and a calculator will be provided for you.

Why should I test at Coyote Flight Centers?

Coyote Flight Centers is local! No need to travel to Lubbock or Oklahoma City to test for FAA Knowledge Exams. We offer all FAA Knowledge Exams here in Amarillo. This includes exams for ATP, Mechanics, IA and all pilot exams.

We have testers come to our location from all around the region including New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas for the convenience and great service.

Coyote understand the need for flexibility. We offer regular testing hours on Saturdays and evening hours. Contact Coyote Flight Centers directly for testing requests before/after office hours.

As we are made aware of changes, we keep you informed.

FREE Practice exams. We offer free practice exams for FAA Knowledge exams. These practice exams are completed with ASA Prepware and are presented in the same format as the FAA exams. Please note: The FAA does not publish current questions to their exams. Do not attempt to memorize questions and answers. The practice exams are to help you prepare for the concepts and format necessary to help you pass the FAA knowledge exams. Practice Exams may not be taken the same day of your FAA Exam according to 8080.6.

FAA TESTING NATIONWIDE CHANGES
2010 will bring many changes in the FAA testing procedures. Be sure to keep watching here for updates.

As of January 1, 2010 an applicant retesting AFTER A FAILED ATTEMPT TO ACHIEVE A PASSING SCORE may retake the same test 2 days after the date of the last attempt. Example: Failed test date on the score report is March 15, 2009. Applicant may retest again on March 17, 2009.

As of March 1, 2010 an ODA Compliance Fee of $50 per exam will be charged. This fee is in addition to the price of the test. Please be aware that Coyote Flight Centers does not set the fee for exams.

March 1, 2010: The new price structure for the FAA exams are now in place. The $150 per exam ($160 per examiner exam) now includes the $50 ODA Compliance Fee.
